Stepping stone
Ohaeawai has been a fantastic stepping stone for my daughter. The environment is very caring and homely. She loved every day there and wished it was open 7 days a week! I would absolutely recommend it.

Fabulous and professional
I spent 5 weeks on practicum at this centre, picking up skills and strategies to support my teaching for my own centre. I feel so privileged and lucky to have been accepted into the fold so quickly. The team here are fabulous examples of professional teaching at its best and I have learnt so much during my time here. I scoff at anyone who dares suggest they are anything other than awesome.
Magical place
It’s tough for a mama to leave her child in the care of anyone else, especially when their bubba is not the sole focus of the carer. But this place is MAGIC. you can feel it when you walk through the door. it is full of aroha, manaaki and awhi for the little people. my little person is so safe and happy here. and I leave her each day knowing that she is in the best possible hands. that trust is invaluable. thank you. xxx
Fantastic place
Ohaeawai Preschool has been a fantastic place for our son to attend. He had passionate teachers that have provided respectful and nurturing care, which has led our son to be respectful and caring of younger children and he has so much confidence in himself. Ohaeawai Preschool has an environment that has encouraged the extension of his problem-solving skills that he uses daily.
